«Cela dépend du résultat, de la compétition, de la distance de l’événement. Gérer les émotions avant et après la compétition est ce qui m’a aidé au fil des ans à rationaliser et à faire face aux émotions profondes. Se rapprocher de son âme intérieure est l’un des sentiments les plus purs et les plus puissants qui soient pour moi. Et le sport est aux premières loges.»
Que faites-vous pour récupérer d’un entraînement difficile?
«En dehors de ce qui est évident: le repos. Je bois beaucoup de liquide, des boissons de récupération protéinées de haute qualité. J’essaie d’avoir un sommeil de qualité et pas seulement un sommeil superficiel. J’aime aussi limiter les stimuli de la vie autour de moi pour avoir un environnement moins stressant. Tel que la musique calme, une maison bien rangée, etc.»
